Background…
After 20 years working for a large insurance company, Ian became disillusioned with an ever-increasing emphasis on company targets rather than client needs. Consequently, Ian decided to leave his employers and form Lifetime Financial Solutions.
Ian reluctantly admits to over 40 years’ experience in financial services and is a fully-qualified financial adviser, as well as holding certification to advise on specialist areas such as mortgages, equity release, long-term care planning and ethical investments.
Ian’s passion for all things financial derives from his love of problem solving and puzzles; whether it’s tax planning or building an investment portfolio, he enjoys coming up with creative plans and solutions to help clients achieve their goals.
The best bit…
Ian’s favourite part of the job is undoubtedly face-to-face client meetings, especially removing the worried look from a new client’s face as the meeting progresses and delivering news of potentially excellent investment results.

When I bought my first home 5 years ago I required a financial advisor to assist with the mortgage selection and advise on protection/insurances required. More recently I have required assistance with my re-mortgage and for a savings account for my child.
